The game Lords of the Fallen was originally released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2014. At first, it is a soulslike game that did not enchant critics, getting average ratings and not even users liked the game very much. Therefore, it can be said that it did not take advantage of the attributes it borrowed from the Souls franchise so well.
As a result, the title ended up being kind of forgotten over time, with no big news. However, Gamescom 2022 brought the announcement of a new game in the franchise, which takes place about a thousand years after the events of the first work. Still, this is a reboot, which means a new storyline told from the beginning, without taking into account the previous game.
It is worth remembering that the first Lords of the Fallen also won a mobile version, released for Android and iOS. Until today it is available and costs about R$ 37.99 in app stores. Now, the new game will have versions for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, although it still doesn’t have a release date set.
The trailer released shows a little bit of the story covered in the new title that will be made in Unreal Engine 5, the same one that has drawn attention because of a Youtube channel that discloses concepts of what some older games released on the new graphics engine would look like.
