The Infinix Smart 7 was launched this Monday, the 13th, as a new entry option for the Asian brand, bringing balanced specifications and a focus on cost-effectiveness. Being an affordable phone, there is no highlight regarding design and construction, including a 6.6-inch TFT screen with HD + 60 Hz rate on its front.
As with other models, this one also sports a drop-shaped notch for a 5-megapixel front camera at the top of the display, while at the back there are two sensors, the primary one being 13 MP followed by another lens of just 0.6 MP with artificial intelligence (AI ) for image post-processing.
As for the internal hardware, the phone is equipped with an octa-core chipset from an unknown brand, but which works in line with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with an expansion slot. Energy demand is met by a large 5,000 mAh battery compatible with 10W charging.
Connectivity doesn’t bring any cutting-edge news, relying only on Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and a Micro USB 2.0 connector for data transfer and charging. The operating system that runs on the Infinix Smart 7 is Android 12 with a guarantee of updating to the successor software.
The manufacturer has not yet revealed details about availability and price, so we must wait for the release of more information about the company’s new entry-level smartphone.
