Vivo introduced the vivo X90 line in November last year in China. It consists of vivo X90, vivo X90 Pro and vivo X90 Pro Plus. A few months later, the first two were released on the global market, while the last one was restricted to the Chinese market.
Now, new information from the Google Play Console indicates that the series will gain a new member, the vivo X90S.
According to the listing on the Google Play Console, the vivo X90S has code V2241A and will come with a 1,260 x 2,800 pixel resolution display. In the operating system, it will come with Android 13 and will have 12 GB of RAM.
Under the hood, vivo X90S is supposed to bring Dimensity 9200 eight-core chipset with Mali G715 GPU. In addition to the specifications, the Google Play Console also revealed the front design of the device. As seen in the image, it has a hole-punch camera and power and volume buttons on the right side.
Previously, a leak had suggested that the vivo X90S would come equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus, something that contradicts the listing on the Google Play Console. It is worth mentioning that the new MediaTek chipset will be announced on May 10.
The vivo X90S was expected as the second cell phone to bring the Dimensity 9200 Plus right after the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, according to information from the renowned informant Digital Chat Station. According to him, the new chipset will score higher on AnTuTu than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
