Samsung has announced yet another fitness initiative for Galaxy Watch users. Initially, eFood Hall will be restricted to users in Korea and will be a marketplace that offers all types of food on its official website.

The section on the website is part of the “Health Collaboration Project” and will sell up to 80 ready-to-eat foods, based on the consumer’s history based on his information on the wearable. This is based on the behavioral composition measured by the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.

Based on the results obtained by the watches, users can determine whether they need to lose fat, gain protein or just maintain a healthy diet. Whichever diet plan you decide to follow, the Samsung eFood Hall will provide recommendations on macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat and protein). These recommendations, according to the company, are carefully selected with inputs from Hyundai Green Food.

Once that nutritional plan is done, that’s where the shopping section comes in. Foods currently available for purchase on the site include dairy, eggs, meat, fish, rice, ramen, kimchi preserves, fruits, nuts, sauces, beverages, water, side dishes and meal kits.

It is worth noting that Samsung does not manufacture any of the food items. They come from popular brands in the country. The company also offers monthly diet plans through a membership and various discount offers are available. Samsung even says it will improve this service in the future, offering users disease-specific diets.
