Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: new little monster may have leaked through Pokémon GO

It’s not long before the release of the long-awaited Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, new games from the acclaimed Nintendo franchise that will introduce us to the ninth generation of little monsters. Considering that the vast majority of games end up going through leaks shortly before their release, it looks like this won’t be an exception in new games.

Apparently, the Pokémon GO game files ended up missing one of the never-before-seen creatures that will be featured in Scarlet and Violet.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, we will get to know the Paldea region and, as is usual in the franchise, a new region also means the appearance of several new species of Pokémon. While trailers for the game have featured some of these new little monsters, this week a new species appears to have been found in Pokémon GO.

The PokeMiners Twitter account reported the appearance of a new and currently unnamed Pokémon appearing in the Pokémon GO source code. The Pokémon is apparently the #1,080 Pokémon in the Pokedex and resembles an ant with a coin attached to its back.

No other information was provided about the Pokémon, except for some 3D images:

According to some insiders who have already corrected information about the new games before, this “Pokemon currency” is real. Insiders claim that this is the first evolutionary stage of the little monster and that there is a quest within the games where you must collect the different types of this Pokémon.

Apparently, the creature will have different variations, similar to the Minior.

It is worth remembering that before the release of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee, we had the presentation of Meltan and Melmetal in Pokemon GO, which makes this supposed leak even more believable.

So, what did you think of this supposed new Pokémon?
