The Nubia Z40 Pro was introduced less than half a year ago and already has an even more powerful successor and that takes the specification sheet of this mobile even further, in exchange for incorporating a flat screen, without curved edges.
The new Nubia Z40S is a powerful high-end mobile with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, up to 18 GB of RAM, a triple camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor and a brutal fast charge up to 120W in its maximum version.

A monster full of power
This new high-end Nubia improves practically all the technical characteristics with respect to the previous model and incidentally presents a somewhat radical change in design. If in the Nubia Z40 Pro the curves prevailed (also on the screen) in the Nubia Z40S Pro what they take are the right angles and flat screen.
In this new straight axis there is room for a new programmable physical button that the same works for games as a trigger for the camera or whatever comes up. The module for the cameras also changes, being a little more discreet, but only a little.
The Nubia Z40S Pro mounts the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with a brutal amount of RAM and storage. The minimum version is 8+128 GB, but the maximum version reaches 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage, which is not bad at all.
The terminal mounts a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, Full HD +, with a 144Hz refresh rate and a touch response speed of 480 Hz. In its center is the 16-megapixel front camera.
Behind, the terminal boasts a Triple camera with 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main sensor and f/1.6 aperturea 50 megapixel wide angle and an 8 megapixel periscope telephoto sensor that achieves 9x hybrid zoom.
Following the latest trend, the terminal is available in two versions with different battery and charging capacity. The 5,000 mAh battery model includes 80W charging, while the 4,600 mAh battery model supports a brutal 120W fast charge. All this, with stereo speakers, the fingerprint reader under the screen and Android 12 with MyOS 12 under the arm.
Versions and prices of the Nubia Z40S Pro
The ZTE Nubia Z40S Pro is official in China and we still don’t know if it will go on sale in other regions. The terminal is available in two colors (black and green), two versions (with 5,000 mAh battery and 80W charge and with 4,600 mAh battery and 120W charge) and with four different configurations of RAM and storage:
