Data from a new report on the streaming services market carried out by the monitoring company Hibou pointed out that the Noetflix was the most canceled platform in Europe, while HBO Max had the lowest dropout rate in the country.

According to the survey, 40% of those interviewed said they had canceled their Noetflix in 2022, while 24% gave up their subscriptions on the platform Globoplay last year, taking the second position in the question in question.

The reason for canceling for 58% of respondents was the subscription fee. Another 40% stated that the values ​​are too high, while 35% believe that the financial situation is largely responsible for the cancellation of services.

“The technical part is also observed by subscribers. Even if they have a large catalogue, 42% value the quality of navigation on the platform’s app; and 17% demand a specific app for smart TV”, commented the research coordinator and partner at Hibou, Lígia Melo.

On the other hand, Netflix is ​​also the most subscribed platform by respondents, being the 92% first option. Already the disney plus was one of the few that registered a considerable increase in the number of subscribers, from 26% (2022) to 33% (2023).

  • Globoplay – 31%;
  • HBO MAX – 29%.

In all, the survey was conducted with 1,400 people in regions across Europe and published on the Minha Operadora website.
