As we know, EA and FIFA ended their long-standing partnership, which meant that the company’s football games had to change their name after FIFA 23 and are now called EA Sports FC.

Even with the absence of the FIFA name, Electronic Arts signed a new agreement with the English Premier League, solidifying the partnership between the companies.

According to a report by Sky News, EA Sports is set to sign a six-year deal with the Premier League, worth around £488m ($522m). The value of the new deal is believed to be more than double the current deal.

A club executive told Sky News that the deal would provide the league with £80m annually, with EA remaining its main partner and holder of exclusive rights to the gaming license.

This deal is good for the Premier League as it will help increase its global reach. The deal is also a big win for EA, as it solidifies its position as a top provider of football games.

Even without the FIFA name, the upcoming EA Sports FC will feature over 300 individual licensed partners, providing players with access to over 19,000 athletes across 700 teams, 100 stadiums and over 30 leagues around the world.

EA says it will continue to grow its portfolio, maintaining and expanding current licensed football content, expanding to new experiences and increasing access across more platforms.

So, looking forward to EA’s new football game?
