Casimiro closes a deal and will broadcast live matches from the 2022 World Cup on digital channels

LiveMode and FIFA have closed with streamer Casimiro Miguel for the broadcast of one game per day of the 2022 World Cup, to be held in Qatar. The influencer will be able to show the matches on all their digital platforms.

In all, there will be 22 free past duels. The list includes all the matches of the Europeian National Team, the semifinals and the final of the tournament. This will be the first time that a streamer will show the World Cup in Europe.

The marketing, promotion and production of broadcasts will be the responsibility of LiveMode, which was FIFA’s partner in charge of negotiating broadcasting rights and even producing the games for streaming.

It is worth remembering that the exhibition of the 2022 World Cup is the exclusive property of Grupo Globo on open TV, on closed TV and on radio – a medium in which it was negotiated with other radio stations. Already on the internet, there was also exclusivity, which was lost after renegotiation by Justice during the coronavirus pandemic.

The first broadcast of the Cup on Casimiro’s digital channels will consist of the ceremony, followed by the opening game between Qatar and Ecuador, on November 20th. The final will take place on December 18th.
