O bugsnax, an indie fantasy adventure game developed by Young Horses, will have a version adapted for mobile soon. As announced by the independent developer this Thursday (04), the game will be available for iPhone in the 2nd quarter of 2023 after its release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2023.
According to Young Horses, the game will have a new touch controls interface, allowing users to have an intuitive and easy experience on mobile devices. For those who are used to the physical keyboard or DualSense, the developer claims that the title will be compatible with several third-party joysticks.
With gameplay full of adventure and totally friendly for all ages, bugsnax takes the player to a mysterious island filled with food-animal hybrid creatures. The objective is to discover and capture the different characters — including carotene worms (carrot worm), burghers (hamburger beetle) and other species.
Bugsnax takes you on a journey to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug, half-snack creatures, the Bugsnax. At the invitation of intrepid explorer Elizabert Mafagafo, you arrive to discover your hostess is missing, her camp is a mess, and her followers scattered across the island alone… and hungry! It’s up to you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island: what happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax and where do they come from? But above all, why are they SO TASTY?
The title is developed by the same team behind octodad, another action- and fantasy-themed production. Its sequel, including, has just been made available in the Apple Arcade catalogue. Octodad: Dadliest Catch+ continues the clumsy and comical physics of the game in which the player controls an octopus that lives like a family man (of humans).
bugsnax is available on Steam for Windows and Mac with 40% off indefinitely at just R$ 28.49. The game can also be purchased from the PlayStation Store for BRL 66.95 (offer valid until May 11, 2023).
