A video published this week showed the disassembly of the new macbook air in 15 inches with M2 chip. In this sense, the channel Max Tech dedicated himself to unraveling the physical part of this device and made some comparisons with the 13″ variant of Apple’s notebook.

The differences, then, begin with the design of the motherboard, which is smaller in the larger device. According to the presenter, this choice was made so that the apple could make the speakers bigger, which is always welcome for those who like to consume media on their laptop.

Taking into account only the 15-inch versions, it is worth mentioning that the 256GB SSD version will be a little slower compared to the higher capacity models. The reason for this is that Apple has equipped this base variant with only one NAND chip, while the others use multiple components of this type.

This MacBook model was recently presented by apple during WWDC and highlights a screen with a brightness of 500 nits. In general, its structure is 11.5 millimeters thick and weighs 1.51 kg and its chip has 8 cores, while the GPU has 10 cores, while the AI processing is in charge of another 16 cores of a Neural Engine.

The version, by the way, should arrive in Europe soon, since it has already been approved by Anatel along with the new Mac Studio and Pro. Meanwhile, new details should emerge about the device through more tests that will be published to show the performance of notebooks.
