Android audio can be streamed to Windows in new Phone Link update

Microsoft recently updated the Phone Link app enabling users to use a new audio feature released on the platform. With the novelty, it is possible to transmit the music or sound that is being played on the smartphone to the computer, a tool that is similar to the integration offered by Spotify.

As the developer explains, using Phone Link it is possible not only to view files, call history and messages received on the cell phone, but also to remotely play the audio that is playing on the smartphone, and it is even possible to quickly change the device selected in the settings.

According to information, this function is still in the development stage and for now there is no release date for everyone, however, stable integration is expected to be released soon by Microsoft. As determined by AllCellularthis feature is not available in the latest version of Phone.

In parallel with audio sharing, the application also received other novelties for users, such as the possibility to view the browser’s search history by synchronizing cross-platform browsing. This functionality is not exclusive to Phone Link, as browsers such as Edge and Chrome offer the sync feature.
