Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick accused Sony of “trying to sabotage” Microsoft’s acquisition of the company and claimed that PlayStation boss Jim Ryan stopped talking to both.

In recent days, the executive made several statements to the press about the acquisition valued at 68.7 billion (BRL 378.5 billion)the largest in the technology industry to date.

Recently, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) gave its initial opinion on Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard citing that the deal would reduce competition and result in higher prices, less choice and innovation for UK gamers.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Kotick said he was concerned about regulators being dominated by “ideologues” and accused the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment and other executives of not returning calls from Activision and Microsoft about the deal.
