Now the video game market is seeing an increase in the popularity of remakes and remasters. Soon, at the QuakeCon event starting August 10, another remaster of the iconic Quake II game will be presented .
According to the latest data, the game will be released on PC and all current major platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. Given that the franchise is owned by Microsoft, it’s possible the game will be available on release day on Game Pass.
It is important to note that in July the updated version of Quake II was assigned an age rating by the South Korean regulator.
The original Quake II was released in 1997 and was warmly received by players and critics, becoming a cult game.
