Mark Gurman Keeps Claiming We’ll Get That 24″ iMac With M3 Later This Year
The rumors continue incessantly about news that can be presented in the remainder of the year. One of the most prolific analysts to be issuing forecasts of what we can see and what not, is Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. He has already stated on several occasions that we have to leave forgetting a bit about the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro with M3 chip.
This novelty will go to a desktop computer. It will be the 24-inch iMac the one that has the honor of being able to count on the new chip that is built based on 3 Nm. Of course, I say that it will be built, but at the moment nothing is known about the start of its production. Only that it will be at the end of this year and in fact that is one of the reasons why we could not count on the renewed MacBooks.
However, Gurman has been saying for a year now that the renewal of the iMac will come at the end of this year and that it will have 24 inches and will be the machine that has the honor of carrying the new M3 chip that promises improvements, especially in the energy efficiency and speed of work.
Now, it has been mentioned that this chip will not go into production until the end of this year. So it seems that the information is a bit contradictory. If it goes into production at the end of the year, it is because at least we will not be able to see the first chips until the beginning of the year 2024. If the iMac wants to be launched at the end of this year, it is because the production of the chips must be brought forward at some point.
