OnePlus announced several devices during the event cloud 11 this Tuesday (07), but one of the less conventional products for the brand famous for manufacturing cell phones is the Keyboard 81 Pro, a mechanical keyboard with tactile and linear switch options designed in partnership with Keychron, within the “Featuring” collaboration program.

With that, the official name of the keyboard is “OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro”. Its aluminum finish gives it a more “premium” look, and although it does not have a numerical area, the peripheral has a programmable disk that can be easily customized through VIA software, promising to improve user productivity.

The Keyboard 81 Pro has keys with different shades of gray with the red “Enter” and “Esc” with the OnePlus logo. Its different options — with tactile or linear switches — vary the arrangement of tones. Below the keyboard, there is a metal bar that allows you to adjust the height of the accessory or keep it positioned vertically to free up space on the desk.

The keys are made of durable plastic and have tactile switches on the “Winter Bonfire” version and linear switches on the “Summer Breeze” version. Each key has springs that can be individually replaced to customize the touch experience of the desired buttons.

On the rear side of the keyboard, there are switches that allow you to switch its mode of use between Bluetooth or USB and adjust its compatibility for Mac or Windows. The model is also compatible with Linux-based operating systems, including Android.

OnePlus does not reveal battery life in wireless use mode, but claims that the keyboard has a 4,000 mAh cell. For now, there is no information about the suggested price of the device, but the Chinese manufacturer claims that both versions will have pre-sales starting in mid-April in the United States.
