The storage2day, the conference on storage networks and data management by iX and dpunkt.verlag, will take place again after two years in online mode, on October 13th and 14th in Munich. A conference program with 33 lectures in three tracks, two keynotes, an evening get-together and many opportunities for professional exchange and networking await the participants.

With its technical, practice-oriented focus, the conference is aimed at system administrators, IT managers and all professionals who deal with storage and backup. Even those who are familiarizing themselves with new areas have the opportunity here to familiarize themselves with basic concepts and techniques, be it through practical reports on the use of software-defined storage, a hands-on session on Distributed Asynchronous Object Storage (DAOS) or Performance measurement concepts and practices. One focus this time is on topics related to ransomware and cyber resilience in the storage environment as well as the pitfalls of recovery in the worst case.
