September patch, updates for the Galaxy coming (also in Italy)

The first smartphones from Samsung to receive the September security patches are Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. A few hours later the first batch of devices to be updated with the latest Google patches has expanded, including even Galaxy S20 FE 5G, Note 20 and Galaxy A52s. Curiously, the most recent tops of the range are missing, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 (which we reviewed recently), but it is possible that just as we write in Europe or elsewhere Samsung has already started the rollout.

Matter of time in short, we would also say little since Samsung seems to have played a sling with the September patches. The feeling is that the company, after many months in which it was the first to update its Galaxy with the latest patches, was blocked by even a small problem that did not allow it to arrive as usual before the others (anticipated from Google), and now that the “cap” has been removed, several updates are coming in no time.

With the September 2022 update, Samsung has remedied 24 vulnerabilitiesnone of which are labeled as criticism while 21 ad high priority and three level moderate. Some of the flaws that Google has corrected with these patches Samsung had already “plugged” with the builds released in August. Technical details at the link in SOURCE.
