Netflix continues to strengthen its video game “channel”a section accessible from the platform’s applications for mobile devices and which, as if it were just another piece of content, offers the possibility of enjoying more and more titles.
One of the new Netflix video games, “Moonlighter”, has been developed by the Spanish studio 11 Bit Studios
During the summer of last year, Netflix reinforced its intention to have an additional leisure offer for its subscribers through video games, advancing in a strategy that it had already timidly entered into with the development of a retro video game that accompanied the success of one of its star series, “Stranger Things”.
So determined were they on Netflix to continue on that path that in March of this year 2022 they acquired the developer studio for that and other video games. There are currently 22 games available on Netflix.
Now the catalog is expanded and, specifically, the new additions are:
-Moonlighter: Developed by the Spanish studio 11 Bit Studios, it is an RPG-type adventure in which the protagonist runs a store in an idyllic town during the day, but at night he will have to explore dungeons and passageways, unraveling mysteries and ending threatening monsters. It is available from today in 15 different languages.
-«Dragon Up»: Developed by the Canadians at East Side Games, this is a single-player adventure that must gather different dragons with which to save a kingdom in difficulty. To give the game an even more magical look, a Nordic inspiration has been adopted in terms of design and graphics. This title is already available in more than 30 different languages.
-«The Exploding Kittens»: Developed by the Direwolf Digital studio, it adapts the card game of the same name in which players must discard trying to avoid the explosive cats of the title. New cards (Radar and Flip Flop) have been added that allow new manipulations of the course of the game. It will be available from May 31 in 15 different languages.
-«Townsmen: A kingdom rebuilt»: Produced by the German studio HandyGames, it allows the player to build a medieval city, make financial decisions and make the inhabitants happy in order to achieve prosperity. It is available from today in 15 languages.
