Kumail Nanjiani in the new images of “Welcome to chippendale”, new Star + miniseries

Jacqui Rivera is co-executive producer and annie wyman is co-producer.
nanjiani recently spoke with Vanity Fair about his experience filming the show and explained how the character is so much heavier than anything he’s played before.
“This is by far the most challenging job I’ve ever done, in terms of the length of the shoot, the content of the scenes, and the emotional difficulty of those scenes. It’s one of those things where I just jumped in and hoped it would reveal itself as it goes along and it did,” he told the site.

“My character is much more rigid than me, he is disconnected from his body, very tight. I started getting this back pain a few months after the shoot, this twisted knot. It got worse and worse and the pain would go from there to my ear.” Kumail.
