If you want to exchange know-how and best practices for data teams on site, you can book a discounted ticket for the conference until August 8th.
The ninth edition of data2day from September 20th to 21st, 2022 in the IHK Haus der Wirtschaft in Karlsruhe focuses on practical knowledge about data science from entry-level projects to data-driven companies. The conference program is tailored to data scientists, data engineers and data teams who are looking for background knowledge, but also specific instructions for data-driven product development, organizational and corporate management – in direct exchange with like-minded and experienced experts from the field.
Discuss and learn in direct exchange
The lecture program provides an overview of the most important topics, trends and tools from data science and machine learning, while the speakers always take a critical look behind the hype. Data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, etc.), MLOps paradigms and the data mesh are put to the test and have to prove their practical suitability.
Stefan Kühn reports from his many years of practical experience as a data scientist and the development of data organizations in companies how data teams implement the concept of a data value chain in order to successfully get the challenges of data quality and data ownership under control.
While Jochen Christ gives a basic overview of data mesh architecture and shows when it is worthwhile and what organizational changes are associated with it, René Lengwinat and Dominik Benz report from the perspective of numerous implemented projects: The software architect and the data architect give their respective personal experiences – Added value and challenges – from the implementation of data mesh structures.
Other program highlights:
- Data-as-a-Product: Develop and implement data products
- Mastering DS and ML projects: From proof-of-concept to productive operation
- MLOps for Deep Learning
- Big NLP Models: Transfer Learning vs. Few-Shot Learning
- Handling data from a legal point of view: What applies today … and what will come tomorrow?
