As Twitter had already announced a month ago now, The closing of TweetDeck in its Mac version becomes effective today. The app for Apple computers of this multiplatform social network management tool is no longer available from today, July 1.
Twitter had warned of the closure of Tweetdeck for Mac now a month ago
Twitter makes this move so that Mac users stop using the app and focus on using the desktop version. The company stops supporting and developing the Mac app to focus its efforts on other developments, such as the creation of a new version of “Preview”, which the company already allows some users to see in the testing phase by invitation.
TweetDeck users have been notified by a banner that appeared at the top of the screen when accessing the TweetDeck app for Mac throughout the month of June.
We’re saying goodbye to TweetDeck for the Mac app to focus on making TweetDeck even better and testing our new Preview. July 1 is the last day it’ll be available.
You can still use TweetDeck on the web and more invites to try the Preview will be rolling out over the next few months!

The application has today been removed from the Apple Store application store and Mac computer users can access the web version and Tweetdeck.com to continue using this tool, a direct competition from Hootsuite, and which was acquired by Twitter in 2011 .
Since then, TweetDeck users can use the functionality to place different columns of tweets and sort the content they see on the social network. Now, if you want to continue using this tool, you will have to go through the web version or directly access it through the Internet, since the Mac app is no longer available.
