Vivo is one of the manufacturers that continues to bet on duality in its mobiles: a 4G and a 5G version. That is just the case of new Vivo Y55 4G, which comes about four months after the Vivo Y55 5G. It is called the same, although it is quite different.
The Vivo Y55 4G is a new mid-range mobile with Snapdragon 680 whose main assets are in its 6.44-inch AMOLED screen and in its 5,000 mAh battery with a fairly fast fast charge for its range.

There are those who still do not need 5G and for them the manufacturers continue to launch models without this connectivity that, in return, can raise the specifications in other aspects. This is just what happens in the Vivo Y55 4G, which in exchange for being 4G can mount an AMOLED screen or drastically increase the loading speedwhile keeping the price low.
The terminal has a slightly different design from the 5G model, with more curves although without many changes on the front, except for the type of screen. Here it is AMOLED, 6.44 inches diagonal and FullHD+. Although the refresh rate remains at the usual 60 Hz, the touch response speed goes up to 180 Hz.
The screen of the Vivo Y55 4G includes the 16 megapixel front camera in the drop-shaped notch and the fingerprint reader under its screen. As usual in mobile phones in its range, it has a somewhat prominent chin. The terminal is launched with Snapdragon 680 on board and a single version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
For photography, the Vivo Y55 4G mounts a triple camera with 50 megapixel main sensor, with a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a third 2-megapixel sensor for portrait mode. These three lenses, combined in a prominent module for the cameras and in two separate groups.
One of the strengths of the Vivo Y55 4G is its battery. In addition to having a large capacity of 5,000 mAh, the terminal supports 44W fast chargemuch higher than the 18W that comes in the 5G model.
Versions and prices of Vivo Y55 4G
The Vivo Y55 4G is official for now in Vietnam and we don’t know if it will go on sale in other regions. If so, we will update this post. The terminal can be purchased in the colors blue and black and a single variant of 8 + 128 GB.
