Samsung, trouble with the super valuation of used vehicles also in the USA

A few days ago we told you about the difficulties that Samsung has encountered in Italy due to the promotional program of overestimation of used items; in recent days from the United States information arrives according to which the problem has not been confined only to the Bel Paese, but someone must have made bad accounts even overseas. A user claims to be a credit of tens of thousands of dollars after buying a whopping 125 units of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the rules of the initiatives and laws could be significantly different between here and the US, and that at the moment there is only the information shared by the user on Reddit. The purchases, justified for business reasons of one’s office, took place over the course of three months in three tranches:

• 1st tranche: 50 phones for $ 55,499; reimbursement expected 35,880 dollars
• 2nd tranche: 50 phones for $ 59,113; expected repayment $ 42,173
• 3rd tranche: 25 phones for $ 26,823; reimbursement expected $ 25,000

Therefore total expense: $ 140,895; total repayment expected 93,053 dollars. In total, again according to the buyer, Samsung has yet to pay $ 45,593. More specifically, the situation is the following:

• 1st order: zero refunds. Samsung has confirmed receipt of the old devices but has not yet made the payment.
• 2nd order: Samsung paid “almost everything”: $ 35,460. He said he took $ 2,113 off the starting total due to errors on his site, so instead of $ 42,173 the refund had dropped to $ 40,060; and then he said he only received 47 out of 50 devices, and so he reduced the figure further.
• 3rd order: Samsung refunded $ 22,000 instead of $ 25,000 because, again, it says it only received 22 of the 25 old smartphones, although the user says they have evidence to prove otherwise.

The user says he has tried to contact Samsung in many ways but so far there has been no way to reach a satisfactory conclusion. To clarify, the official position is “the ticket is open, we are investigating”, but meanwhile the initiative turned out to be “a total nightmare” for the unfortunate redditor ..
