Samsung lists the One UI vulnerabilities fixed with the June 2022 patches

Samsung also shared details of the fixes applied to its UI with the update this month June already arrived on the Galaxy S22 and arriving in the next days / weeks also on all the other products still covered by software support.

Also on this occasion, the Seoul-based company categorized the different ones on the basis of the level of severity vulnerability resolved by Google and included in the monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR) package:

  • Critic: 5 in total
  • Tall: 39 in total
  • Moderate: 1 in total
  • Already included in previous updates: 1 in total

25 corrections that were carried out by Samsung’s men on the recommendation of the developers, identified by the abbreviation EVS – Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures. Part of the issues solved were related to accessing SIM card data, accessing the camera and to remote code execution. Also fixes for vulnerabilities related to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Samsung account.

The latest security patches released by Google and Samsung’s One UI fixes will be rolled out to all Galaxy smartphones and tablets over the course of next weeks. For more information and all the details, please refer to the dedicated page on the Samsung Mobile Security portal (link in SOURCE).
