Samsung’s new simple mobile: the Samsung Galaxy A04 is official like the renewal of the Galaxy A03 and with a specification sheet that the truth is that it has not changed much. What does vary is the design, which now dispenses with the module for the cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 is the cheapest new mobile in the A series, at least until we know possible variants, which will come). It has a 5,000 mAh battery, a 50-megapixel dual camera and it is already launched with Android 12, which is not little.

Samsung has announced, without fanfare, a new terminal for its entry range: the Samsung Galaxy A04. terminal is enormously similar in its specification sheet to the Galaxy A03 November of last year, something that is not entirely unusual for Samsung.

Where there is more changes is in its designwith a smooth body in which we no longer have a module for the cameras that protrudes, but that already integrates the two lenses (protruding a little, everything is said).

Another difference is found precisely in this chamber, whose main sensor is now 50 megapixels (was 48 MP on the Galaxy A03). It is accompanied by an additional 2 megapixel sensor for portrait mode.

In front there are not many changes either, with a screen 6.5-inch diagonal LCD with HD+ resolution. Samsung does not mention the refresh rate, so we assume that it remains at 60 Hz as usual. With a pronounced chin, the top includes a teardrop-shaped notch that houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung does not tell us the processor of the Galaxy A04 beyond mentioning that it has eight cores (something that describes practically all processors), although unofficial information tells us that it would be an Exynos 850. There will be versions for all tastes, with 4, 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128 GB of storage expandable via MicroSD.

For its part, the battery remains in the 5,000mAh capacity without mention of fast charging, so it would be normal to have a standard 10W charge. The terminal has a headphone jack, but it doesn’t seem to have biometrics.

Versions and prices of the Samsung Galaxy A04

Samsung has made the Samsung Galaxy A04 official, although we still do not have its price and availability details in the different markets. What we know is that it is available in several colors: white, black, green and pink and in RAM combinations ranging from 4 + 32 GB to 8 + 128 GB. It is rumored that its starting price in Europe would be 169 euros, but this is unconfirmed.
