Several days ago POCO announced a global event for today, June 23, in which it would unveil the new POCO F4 and POCO X4 GT. The day has come and we already have them among us. In the case of the POCO X4 GT, without reaching the level of the POCO F4 GT, it does share several features with it that promise to make it a tough rival in the mid-range.
Among them, we have, for example, the front and rear photographic equipment, 5G connectivity or Dolby Atmos certification. Although in this model, POCO has opted for an LCD panel, a MediaTek brain and a bigger battery with a slightly slower load. Let’s see it in detail.

The front of the POCO X4 GT is dominated by a 6.6-inch LCD screen with FullHD + resolution (2,460 x 1,080 pixels), 144Hz refresh rate and 270 Hz touch sampling rate. That panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a hole for the front camera.
Precisely that 20-megapixel front camera is one of the features that this new model shares with the POCO F4 GT. It also inherits the rear photographic equipment, made up of a 64 megapixel main sensor with f/1.89 aperture, an 8 megapixel wide angle and a 2 megapixel macro lens.
At the controls of this terminal we find the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor together with 8 GB of LPPDR5 RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and MIUI operating system based on Android 12. It is powered by a 5,080mAh battery that supports fast charging of 67 W (promises to go from 0 to 40% in 18 minutes).
In addition, the POCO X4 GT features dual speakers, Dolby Atmos sound, the cooling system with LiquidCool 2.0 technology and the usual connectivity options for the mid-high range: 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB-C port and headphone jack.
Price and versions of the POCO X4 GT
Xiaomi has confirmed that the new POCO X4 GT will go on sale on July 4 with an Early Bird offer until July 9 that will allow you to get it with a 50-euro discount. It will be marketed in three colors (blue, black or silver) and in two configurations:
LITTLE X4 GT 8GB/128GB: 349.99 euros (Early Bird price of 299.99 euros from July 4 to 9).
LITTLE X4 GT 8GB/256GB: 429.99 euros (Early Bird price of 379.99 euros until July 9).
