iQOO Z6: new version gets official release date and has confirmed design

The new version of iQOO Z6 should be officially launched on the 25th of August, that is, this Thursday. The information was confirmed by the manufacturer itself after some leaks appeared on social media.

The event should take place at 7:30 pm (8:30 am in Europe) and it should be broadcast to all Chinese audiences through the social network Weibo. In addition, the Chinese manufacturer also released two important details about the smartphone.

The first is its design. As you can see in the images below, the smartphone must have a large camera module that brings two circles to accommodate the sensors.

The new iQOO Z6 is also expected to be sold in three colors: black, blue and orange. Now, when it comes to fast charging, the manufacturer highlights the presence of 80W technology.

On the other hand, the other specifications of the smartphone still remain a secret, but Chinese rumors indicate that we should still expect an IPS LCD screen up to 120 Hz, Snapdragon 7 series processor and Android 12 native.

Of course, more details could end up leaking over the next few hours.

New version of iQOO Z6 may be on the way with screen and loader changes

The mid-range line of the Chinese manufacturer Vivo was launched in April this year. In this sense, the series may receive another model soon with important updates. According to rumors, the new Z6 smartphone should feature changes in charging and display.

The original iQOO Z6 had hit the market with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. In addition, the device’s display was AMOLED technology and the model came with 44W fast charging. These are the points that the new smartphone should bring different, arriving with the following specifications:

• Snapdragon series 7;

• LCD screen;

• 80W charging.

It is worth noting that even if the screen is downgraded in technology, the refresh rate should increase to 120 Hz. Still, it was not possible to confirm whether the device will be a new Z6 or an updated version of the original model, which has already received a 5G version: the Vivo iQOO Z6 5G.

The smartphone initially launched came with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. These attributes, in principle, should not be changed and the device should also keep the same camera sensor as in its first version. It’s worth keeping an eye out for any kind of update.

It is worth remembering that none of this information has been officially confirmed by the company. As has happened on other occasions, Vivo itself can attest to whether these rumors are true before the official launch, as it has done before.
