Dublin traffic: Heavy traffic building on roads close to Marlay Park ahead of Guns N Roses concert
Motorists are being advised that heavy traffic is being reported on roads near Marlay Park ahead of tonight’s Guns N Roses gig.
LiveDrive is reporting that there is heavy traffic on Scholarstown Road, Rathfarnham Road and Brehon Field Road / Green Route. Meanwhile, There is a broken down lorry on the M50 northbound at J11 (Tallaght). It’s on the hard shoulder, but traffic is slowing as it passes.
Commuters have been warned of delays with traffic jams on the rise across Dublin this evening. Over 100 jams have been reported in the capital according to watchdogs Tomtom.com.
Luas service disruption after car crash
Luas passengers are advised that there are currently no services between Blackhorse and Smithfield due to a crash.
Luas tweeted this evening: “Passengers please be advised there is currently no service between Blackhorse and Smithfield due to a RTC.
“All Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Breakdown on M50 southbound causing delays
A broken down bus is causing delays on the M50 southbound this evening.
TII Traffic tweeted: “Breakdown on M50 J13 – DUNDRUM (south) Slip M50 to R113 South.”
Motorists are urged to be cautious on approach.
M50 slips to close overnight for works
Motorists are advised that several M50 slips will be closed tonight for works.
The following slips will be closed this evening from 9pm-6am: N2 Inbound and Outbound Freeflows to M50 S’bound with diversions via J4 Ballymun.
Luas Red Line service operating with delays up to 15 minutes
Luas passengers are advised that Red Line services are operating with some delays this evening.

No LUAS service between Saggart and Belgard due to signalling issue
LUAS passengers are being warned that there is currently no service between Saggart and Belgard due to a signalling issue.
LUAS tweeted: “Passengers please be advised there is currently no service between Saggart and Belgard due to a signaling fault. Dualway coaches are servicing all affected stops.
“Trams are operating between Tallaght & The Point/Connolly. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Earlier breakdown on M50 cleared
A lorry that had broken down on the M50 at J11 Tallaght has now been cleared.
Motorists are advised that traffic is still heavy in the area.
