If the design of the Prime Video app seemed frustrating for you to find new content, you may be convinced by the new look that the new update brings.

With a dynamic more similar to Netflix, Prime Video is modernized with a more attractive and user-friendly design. We tell you the news.

Amazon Prime debuts design and more functions

As can be seen in the images shared by Amazon, Prime Video receives a major design change, with more emphasis on the visual and more user-oriented.

For example, if you watch Prime Video from the TV you will see that it has a new navigation menu, which is now on the side of the screen, with a dynamic similar to Netflix. You will have six main sections, such as Home, Search, Store, Free with ads, etc.

And of course, each category will have new menus so you can easily find the content you’re looking for, whether it’s movies, sports, TV shows, etc.

On the other hand, it also has a new dynamic to give more prominence to featured content. For example, you’ll see a new system of cards and carousels that display featured titles along with a preview of the content.

And if you go directly to the “Search” section you will find that this section becomes a bit smarter with suggestions that appear as you type your search terms. It will allow you to filter by genre, quality, titles, collections, etc.

And so that there is no confusion, it is now clearly displayed which content is included within the user’s subscription and which is available to buy, rent, etc.

All these new features will first reach all living room devices (TVs, media players, etc.) and then it will be implemented in the Prime Video app for Android. And in the near future, it will also be extended to the iOS app.
