UFOs will now be officially tracked by the Department of Defense
A UFO does not have to be related to extraterrestrial life, it is simply an unidentified flying object, so it can be from a drone to a non-commercial aircraft. Be that as it may, there are plenty flying around, and until now the US Department of Defense didn’t have a specific office dedicated to them.
That’s right, the United States Department of Defense has just announced the creation of an office to track unidentified objects in space, in the atmosphere and under water. This last environment is due to the fact that on some occasions a UFO has been seen quickly entering the ocean, thus losing its trail.
The goal is to gain more control over US airspace after numerous sightings of unidentified flying objects have been made public, both from within and outside the military.
Wednesday, July 20, was the first day of this office, known as the “All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office,” or AARO, led by Sean Kirkpatrick, who was a chief scientist at the Space Intelligence Agency’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center. defense.
They will initially only concentrate on UFOs near military installations, areas of operations, training areas, special use airspace and other areas of interest, focusing on governance, science and technology, operations and intelligence analysis, mitigation and defeat, surveillance , collection and reporting, as well as the capabilities and design of the system.
The goal will be to track anomalous, unidentified space, airborne, submerged, and transmedia objects (objects or ships that can travel from air to sea quickly, for example).
It is not the first time that the United States has worked on the subject, NASA appointed a subcommittee to analyze this type of object in June, with the aim of eliminating some of the stigma associated with the subject.
