iOS 16: “Hidden” album now requires Face ID to enter

Apple offers the ability to save certain photos to a hidden album so that they do not appear next to the rest of the images when you are showing photos to another person.

However, until now, you could access the Hidden album if you left your iPhone already unlocked, which could be a bit embarrassing if you lent the phone to someone “curious”.

Fortunately, with iOS 16, this has changed. Now, when you try to access the Hidden album, you need to authenticate using Face ID or the lock code.

In this way, even if you leave the phone to another person, they will not be able to access your private photos if they do not know your secret code.
