How to use Google Photos to cut a video on the phone

The truth is that this is a fantastic tool from the Mountain View company and that, among the many virtues it offers, is that of being able to cut videos in a fairly simple and effective way. Therefore, it is an excellent possibility that you should seriously consider having on your terminal, be it iOS or Android, since the download and installation is completely free… which, obviously, increases its attractiveness. What you have to do to cut videos with Google Photos We leave you a step by step that you must follow to achieve the objective of making the video you have recorded smaller and, for example, that it becomes a magnificent option when publishing it on Instagram Reels. Also, you should know that no quality is lost when doing this, which is always positive because the definition will continue to be as good as the usual one offered by your smartphone’s camera. This is what you have to do. Open the Google Photos app as usual and, on its initial screen, find the video you want to edit to cut it. When you locate it, click on it to open the management interface. If you don’t see a lower ribbon with the Edit icon, click on the screen and then use it to access all the tools that the application has to modify, in in this case, the videos. In the upper area you see the image of the video and, just below, its timeline. Simply drag the white line at the beginning and the end to leave exactly the desired frames with their corresponding duration. If you have finished, you can check how everything looks in the upper area, you have to use the Save copy button. And, this is a very positive thing about Google Photos: it doesn’t overwrite the original file, so you won’t lose it. If you want to delete it, do it manually.
