The South Korean giant has officially presented the Samsung Galaxy A04, a smartphone that points directly to the mid-low range, and that it maintains the classic design that the company has accustomed us to within this range. This means that the Samsung Galaxy A04 uses an all-screen front with quite sharp edges, and that it integrates the front camera in a notch in the shape of a drop of water. On the back we see a dual camera setup integrated directly into the case, without an island.
It is important that we do not confuse the Samsung Galaxy A04 with the Samsung Galaxy A04s that we talked about yesterday, since they are two different models, although the resemblance at the level of design and build quality is more than evident. And speaking of quality finishes, this new Samsung terminal is made of plastic, something normal considering that it is a cheap smartphone, and that said material is cheap and resistant.
At the level of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A04 has a screen of 6.5 inches with HD+ resolution. The SoC model it uses has not been specified, but we know that it has an octa-core CPU, and that it will be accompanied by different configurations of RAM and storage capacity, although not all of these options may be available in all markets. . According to the source of the news, it can be configured with 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM, and with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of storage capacity, which we can expand with a microSD card of up to 1 TB.
The camera setup is quite modest, but understandable considering the range the Samsung Galaxy A04 is targeting. On the front we have a 5 MP camera, and on the back we find a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. This terminal has 4G connectivity, supports Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 5 and comes with a 5,000 mAh battery. We imagine that it will come with Android 12 as the operating system, although it is not yet confirmed.
The price and launch date of the Samsung Galaxy A04 have not been confirmed either, but seeing that the terminal is already listed on the official Samsung website its availability should be a matter of days, and after seeing its specifications it is clear that this model should be in the range of 150 euros, approximately (in its base configuration). Said configuration should offer acceptable performance, thanks to its eight-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. The 32 GB of storage capacity falls short, but it makes up for it with the microSD card slot.
