It’s becoming a habit now: just like Moto G GO and the decidedly more interesting Moto G62, too Moto G42 is the protagonist of a leak that reveals the main features and also the design in advance of the presentation of the company. The identikit of this new smartphone is quite defined, and clearly indicates a device designed for the medium-low range of the market: that “chin” (ie the lower frame around the display visibly more pronounced than the others), on the other hand, sets the record straight right away.
In terms of design, the renderings present us with a linear product, without frills, with regular geometries, edges that are more flat than curved (but not completely flat), a rounded rectangle that houses the three rear cameras and a beautiful blue-green color with a particular finish that enhances the whole.
MEDIUM RANGE ALSO INSIDE
As for the specifications, according to the leaks Moto G42 will have a display 6.4-inch FHD + OLED 13 MP front camera (placed in a hole in the center of the screen), a triplet of 50 MP (main), 8 MP (ultrawide) and 2 MP (macro) main sensors and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for recharge at 18W.
To move everything, under the body, there will be a Qualcomm heart, or the Snapdragon 680 SoC flanked by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Finally, the audio will be stereo, the 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones will not be missing and the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the right side of the device. At the moment there is nothing official, since Motorola has never even mentioned the existence of Moto G42, but in the past few weeks other renderings that portrayed the device in another color have already been filtered: you can see them below.
