Mobile terminal manufacturers, in general, bet on the entire product range to maximize their sales and market share. An example of what we say is Samsung, which recently made its new foldables official and today does the same with a model that goes straight to the entry-level range, the Galaxy A04. We tell you what it offers.
This mobile, with Android 12 operating system, has quite contained hardware, but in principle it is enough to do the basics with Google’s development. Your processor is a model of eight cores solvent -probably the Exynos 850- that is accompanied by a RAM which can be obtained in three quantities: 4, 6 and 8GB. This, in principle and together with a storage of a maximum of 128 gigabytes (can be expanded with microSD cards of up to 1TB), make it convincing, but without standing out, in this section.
A correct screen and a battery that manages to convince
The panel of this Samsung Galaxy A04 is of 6.5 inches, which is not bad to be able to run multimedia content with a good experience (curiously, it includes a notch for the front camera, instead of the usual hole). Besides, it should be noted that this component has a resolution HD+, so don’t expect a pixel density above 400 dpi. Therefore, it will not look bad, but the truth is that it does not particularly stand out here.
On the contrary, the battery must be said that it does convince. It has an amperage of 5,000mAh. And, if you take into account the hardware that we have mentioned (especially processor and screen), it is more than certain that you can exceed the day of use and even reach two if the smartphone is not used intensively. Obviously, no wireless charging because we are talking about a cheap phone, but it does include fast, which is always positive.
A camera that hides a surprise in this Samsung
This is none other than the main sensor that has the main and rear, it is nothing less than 50MP. This is not exactly common in entry-level models, especially if the component has a focal aperture of F: 1.8. In addition, this element is accompanied by an additional 2 megapixel, whose function is to improve depth, but from which spectacular results should not be expected. As for the selfie camera of this Samsung, this is 5MP, so it just delivers.
Other good details are that the weight of this Samsung Galaxy A04 is only 192 grams and its thickness remains at 9.1 millimeters. Not bad considering the integrated battery. Well, the Korean company has not communicated it in its press preview, but the normal thing is that it is located about 100 euros as much if you want to compete with POCO or realme devices. As for the colors with which it can be obtained, there are four: white, black, pink and green.
