If you are one of the lucky ones who got free NFT from DC a few months ago, pay attention, because they have already opened the market for buying and selling them.
Within the nft.dcuniverse.com platform, identifying ourselves with the login and password that we created at the time, we can now, in addition to seeing our collection, access a Marketplace in beta mode, available at the top left.
In this market, the elements that other users have put up for sale appear, with prices of all kinds, from 200 to 10,000 dollars a unit, depending on how rare the collectible is.
The platform keeps 10% of the transaction, and to sell our NFT, it is necessary to provide detailed personal information, with country and address.
In this video I tell you the details:
All the money earned from the sale will stay in a wallet that they do not have ready yet, so the transfer to our bank account from there is not yet defined. It is important to keep in mind the following points:
– Each item in our collection already shows the “sell NFT” button, but to do so you have to complete some identification steps, scanning our ID and taking a selfie. This is done from the mobile, scanning a QR code that appears on the web. The verification process does not work the first time, since at the moment there are many people and there is saturation. In my case it worked on the third try. Once the identification is done, we can put the price we want in our NFT.
In the image above it is possible to see how I have already put one of the two NFTs up for sale, for $700.
– There are limited copies of each item, so it’s worth checking to see if there’s a cheaper copy than the one we’ve found. In the image below you can see ValKod with prices ranging from $100 to $12,000. If you are going to buy something, do not hurry, search calmly.
Surely many people will start buying the cheapest ones with the idea of selling them in the future at a higher price, or maybe everything will be forgotten and in a week no one will remember the DC marketplace… time will tell.
