In the absence of being able to test them, everything indicates that the work that NVIDIA is carrying out with the future GeForce RTX 40 it will be something out of series. This very morning we have reviewed the latest leaked technical details of the RTX 40 series and, as we told you there, everything indicates that the difference between the current generation and what is to come is going to be more than considerable. So much even to consider waiting for its arrival to update the PC, even if there are still a few months to go.
Now, and this is also a surprise, it seems that NVIDIA would have stepped on the accelerator, or at least that is what it tells us the last post on Twitter from popular leaker Kopite7kimi, in which he states that NVIDIA could present the GeForce RTX 40 as early as the beginning of the third quarter, that is, at any time from July 1. It does not give more specific data, but this points more to the month of July, or early August at the latest, than to the second half of this month and to September.
Ada Lovelace will come out a little bit earlier. Keep patient.

We already expected that the arrival of the GeForce RTX 40 would take place in the summer, but if what was stated in this leak is confirmed, it seems that NVIDIA would have decided take advantage of the good moment that the graphic card market is experiencing, with distributors returning to stock and prices returning to reasonable levels, for the debut of its new generation. A situation that could improve even more if the launch of the new GeForce RTX 40 occurs with enough stock of the RTX 30 on the market, since their prices could experience some more drop.
Another reason to advance the presentation and launch of the GeForce RTX 40 has to do with the expected arrival of Intel graphics cards for desktop, as well as the new generation of AMD. In the first case we are talking about something initially planned for the end of this second quarter, but everything indicates that it will finally be delayed due to problems with software development. And as for AMD, we expect the arrival of the Radeon RX 7000 sometime in the middle of summer.
Therefore, if NVIDIA has already done its homework, production supplies have already normalized and the competition aims to carry out its launches in the middle of summer, bring forward the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 seems like a very smart movesince at least being the first to arrive would be scored.
