As its name suggests, this Live View feature allows you to better orient yourself through the use of your mobile camera, which will help you see real directions on the screen to reach your destination. Being honest, it turns out to be one of the best options that Google Maps offers, since instead of just showing you the map and the route, it literally shows you the path you should follow.

To use the Live View feature in Google Maps and enjoy augmented navigation

– Access the Google Maps app and choose the place you want to go.
– Once the point is defined, click on it and then within its information sheet, click on the lower blue button that says How to get.
– In the transportation method bar that is positioned on the map, press the option that is for walking.
– Now press on the new lower blue button that indicates live view.
– At this point you will have to start focusing with your camera on everything around you, be it buildings, signs, stores or premises so that Google can define where you are at that moment.
