Microsoft will add a new update to the Outlook app on iOS that will make it easier for users to send images as attachments in their emails.
Although it is an option that has been available for a long time in the web version of Outlook, this task is complicated from iOS since it offers a single option for sending images.
Microsoft Outlook will let you send images as attachments on iOS
If you use Outlook on your iPhone, you will soon find a new dynamic that will make it easier for you to send files in emails, following the same dynamic that we find in its web version.
So far, we can only send images in an email if we embed them within the message. Although it can be useful on more than one occasion, since it allows it to be visible without the recipient having to take any extra action, it is not always practical.
If it is an image with sensitive content, it will not be practical or safe to send it embedded in our email. And on the other hand, it can be annoying for the recipient to see the images as part of reading the email. However, Outlook does not offer another option from its mobile app for iOS.
An issue that could be resolved in the near future as can be seen in the Microsoft team’s roadmap. As can be seen in the description, Outlook on iOS will offer the possibility of sending one or more images from the gallery or from our Drive account in two ways.
We can embed the image in the body of the email or send it as an attachment. An option that will prevent us from having to enter the web version of Outlook to perform this action and keep our image private when we send an email.
According to the roadmap, this new option for Outlook is scheduled to roll out in June.
