With Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung introduced a change in design, going to smooth the angular corners seen on Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra a little. With the next flagship, Galaxy S26 Ultrathe manufacturer could continue on this trend and go to round the corners even more.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra increasingly “rounded” in design

Galaxy S25 Ultra is the model that has introduced multiple changes at the design level than the predecessor, even without major upheavals. Although some users love the “angular” design seen on the previous models of the Ultra series, which makes them easily distinguishable, others prefer a more rounded design, less “annoying” to be challenged (especially with one hand) and more comfortable to have in the pockets.

According to what reported by Ice UniverseSamsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have even more rounded corners: this choice will probably “standardize” the smartphone design further, probably making it less distinguishable at first sight than the many other Android models, but at the same time it should improve ergonomics. This novelty will add to a reduced thickness, which will give it a more elegant aspect: following the trend that started with Galaxy S25 Edge and continued with Galaxy Z Fold7, the next flagship model should in fact reduce both the weight and the thickness in an important way.

There are still several months left at the launch, but the rumors point to a Galaxy S26 Ultra equipped with a battery without surprises (but with a faster recharge), of photographic improvements (between telephoto lens and opening, but without upsets in the main sensor) and unpublished technology for its display, called Flex Magic Pixel (with artificial intelligence to increase the level of the level of privacy user with control over vision corners).

There is still time to discover the advances on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. We remind you that in the coming weeks several other novelties await us in the Samsung house, among the Galaxy Tab S11 series, Galaxy S25 FE and beyond.
