The work of the team of developers of WhatsAppaimed at improving this popular instant messaging service, this through the resolution of the bugs found by users and the introduction of new functionality or graphic changes, all with the aim of guaranteeing an experience that can be increasingly captivating and full of customization possibilities.
And so in the past few hours the release of a new version has been started beta of the application dedicated to Android -based devices: we are talking about the Version 2.25.12.25.
WhatsApp Beta is enriched with a new function
Last year it emerged that among the functionality during development there was also a system of translation of messagesall entirely on the device, without the need to pass through external servers.
Well, it seems that the WhatsApp team is finally testing this feature with the public and with version 2.25.12.25 Beta has been made available to some users the possibility of translating the chat messages and channel updates.
As shown by these screenshots, some users have the opportunity to download languages of languages and translate messages directly from the app.
Among the supported languages there are the Spanish, Arab, Portuguese (Brazil), Hindi and Russian and, once a language has been selected, WhatsApp will download the package to enable the translation.
Users can also choose a special language package, capable of automatically detecting the language of incoming messages (which is particularly useful in group chats, in which multiple languages could be used).
The translation function is accessible from the chat information screen, in which users can specify the language from which they wish that the messages are automatically translated for each conversation but it is also possible to manually translate a single message, opening the related options and selecting the appropriate option.
At the moment there is no information on when this feature will be made available to all users.
