Vivo’s OriginOS 6 is official

At the height of a series of speculations, enriched by some official teasers that confirmed what was leaked, live he presented OriginOS 6the new version of its user interface that will debut globallyreplacing Funtouch OS 15 on our side.

Fluid. Seamless. Effortlessly.

With OriginOS 6, every swipe, tap, and swipe is smoother than ever. No delays. No slowdowns. Only fluid movements, designed for the way you move.

Because fluidity isn’t just a feature: it’s the essence of OriginOS 6.

Design inspired by Apple’s Liquid Glass

We are now used to the fact that Google and Apple copy each other’s features to integrate into their respective operating systems and it is no coincidence that, in recent years, Android and iOS continue to become more and more similar, despite remaining on two parallel lines in certain respects.

We are equally accustomed to the fact that many Chinese manufacturers see the choices made by the Cupertino giant as the “way to follow” and, over the years, this has been seen both in the design of the devices and in the integration of some features (see Dynamic Island), almost like a “homage” to iPhones.

The design of OriginOS 6 is clearly inspired by that of iOS 26 and his Liquid Glasseven just at a glance: we find translucent and/or glass-like elements, rounded buttons, square-shaped apps with rounded corners and plays of transparencies and refractions.

Going beyond what is seen on the surface, we discover that all the other elements of the system user interface have been revised by the Chinese manufacturer, which has included transparent elements (app folders, notifications and dock) to create depth effects, enriching them with animations that convey a total sense of fluidity.

While Apple talks about “liquid glass”, in its marketing material the Chinese manufacturer refers to water to explain the sensations that the development team wants to convey to the user.

The control center and lock screen, with attached 2D/3D wallpapers with motion effect and the clock that integrates into the wallpapers to increase immersion, have also been redesigned to reflect Apple’s style

Greater AI integration is at the center of the user experience

To improve the fluency of OriginOS 6vivo has implemented the new Blue River Smooth Engine: This component accelerates processing, enjoys a “dual rendering” architecture and guarantees smoother animations, greater responsiveness and greater promptness when switching from one app to another.

Net of design and fluidity, considering the historical period, the development team was also concerned with implementation new artificial intelligence functions or, better yet, to integrate them more deeply with the operating system: users will be able to count on a telephone assistanton a summary generatorup More powerful tools for photo editing (improve resolution, remove objects or people even from moving photos, convert photos to PDF), up on-screen search tools and, more generally, on an assistant who can fully understand the context present on the screen.
