There are still a few months left until the official presentation of the series Galaxy S26 of Samsung, which however has been making waves for a while now: this time the rumors concern theGalaxy Unpacked eventwith particular reference to the date, the city that will host it and the setting: according to what emerged, there will be a lot of talk about artificial intelligence.
Samsung Galaxy S26: Galaxy Unpacked delayed and “AI-Focused“
At the end of October, Samsung had provided some previews of its next flagship smartphones, talking about new generation cameras, a customized chip and AI. This information constitutes only the latest episode of a soap opera that has already been going on for weeks and which has concerned essential aspects such as the models that will make up the Galaxy S26 series: at first, it seemed that the South Korean manufacturer was intent on revolutionizing the range through the introduction of a Pro model and the setting aside of the Plus model in favor of the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge; however, the disappointing sales of the latter may have messed up Samsung’s plans, to the point that Samsung Galaxy S26+ should retain its place in the series, while the arrival of Galaxy S26 Edge would be at risk. There should be no doubts, however, around Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Today we are not talking about smartphones, but rather about the event in which they will be protagonists: according to what was reported on X by the leaker Jukan, the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 will be held next February 25th to San Francisco and it will be an event AI-Focused. The delay compared to usual (Samsung usually organizes Galaxy Unpacked between the end of January and the beginning of February) would have been determined by changes to the lineup.
The information comes from industrial sources, according to which Samsung is already carrying out preparations for the event. For Samsung, it would be a return to San Francisco three years after the last time and the choice would not be random: the city has experienced a sort of technological rebirth with the AI boom and would therefore be the perfect location for an event strongly focused on the theme of artificial intelligence.
