Honor wants to improve the telephoto lens with the Magic8 series
A couple of months ago we started to peek at what awaits us with Honor Magic8 And Honor Magic8 Probetween OLED LTPO display (6.3 or 6.59 inches), SOC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and other details. According to what reported by the leaker Smart Pikachu On Weibo, it seems that the Chinese producer is evaluating to update its periscopic camera of 200 MP By the end of the year, with the aim of using it on the Honor Magic8 series.
The source has not been pushed further for now and has not revealed more details, but we take it for granted that it will be the flagship model (Magic8 Pro) to be able to take advantage of the most advanced photographic sector. We know that Honor introduced its 1/1.4 ″ and 200 MP sensor with its Magic7 RSR Porsche Design in December, a premium device that arrived in Italy in January: the telephoto lens in question offers ultra Wide F/1.88 opening, 3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom and optical stabilization, and a Lidar Matrix automatic focus system, equipped with a matrix. of 1200 Lidar points. All this to also offer quality macro shots, regardless of the lighting conditions.
Apparently Honor wants to go further and improve his periscopic camera with the Magic8 series, but not only. Last March, the first rumors of Magic8 Pro already focused on the introduction of a 1 -inch owner sensor equipped with variable opening. For now no more details have appeared in this sense: the new Android smartphones could see the light in China during autumn, perhaps in October 2025 (a short distance from the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 of Qualcomm), probably with Honor Magicos 10 and Android 16 (expected in June in the Google house).
