Google Play Store: small touches at the UI in Rollout for everyone
On the Google Play Store app for Android, some small changes that should improve the user experience in choosing the apps to download, providing additional details and more. It is something that had already emerged in March.
In the cards containing apps or games, it was Added a contrast background Behind the evaluation, an element that contributes to highlighting one of the data to be taken into consideration (but is not the only one) when we choose to download a certain app (or game).
Also the wording “Installed”present in place of the evaluation in the apps or games that we have installed on the device, received the same treatment. When we have apps and games (or books) for a fee, the price is also superimposed on a contrast background.
The other useful information that appears next to the evaluation (or to the wording “Installed“), for example “Update. Main”“Public administration“,, “Event” And “Finish between x hours”they were enclosed in the same way within contrast backgrounds.
In the download screen (path “Avatar Account Google> Manage apps and device> Updates”) a similar contrast background was added to evidence the progress of the download and installation procedure: the items involved are the percentage of the total size, “Pending…” And “Installation”.
These aesthetic innovations are in rollout for everyone (server side) with the Version 47.9 of the Google Play Store. We point out that they still continue to not be widely available or the new expressive style user interface for the account selection page and access to the various settings of the store or the “uninstall” button on the individual pages of the apps.
