Updated security patches (October 2025) but without any news

Going further, usually new monthly updates bring to smartphones Made by Google also the most recent security patches, which in this case are updated to October 2025.

After July, however, the October bulletin also goes “deserted” and vulnerabilities are not resolved, both in terms of specific CVEs for Pixels (as can be seen from this post), and in terms of generic patches for Android devices (as can be seen from this post).

This lack of CVEs fixed with the monthly update is in line with the new approach Risk-Based Update System (RBUS) that Google is fielding, even if an official announcement is still missing.
