After starting to take a look at some of the news coming with the One UI 8, it’s time to look beyond and talk about the series Samsung Galaxy S26. There are still several months to the launch of the next flagships of the S series, but in these hours interesting rumors have appeared photographic sector and the Differences between Galaxy S26/S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung has decided: new camera coming for Galaxy S26

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series should consist of three models, exactly like the previous ones (excluding the exception of Galaxy S25 Edge, however only arrived later). Although it may seem a little early to talk about smartphones coming at the beginning of 2026, and which should still be preceded by the two folding Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 (expected for the first half of July), in these hours they jumped intriguing advances that is worth discussing.

According to what reported by GalaxyClubSamsung Galaxy S26 (and presumably Galaxy S26+) will be equipped with a New main 50 MP camera. The MPs will apparently the same as the previous models, but this time there will be a new sensor: After using the same on Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 (albeit with improvements), the South-Core producer would be preparing to use something new.

It would be a sensor of the line Isocell gn Not yet announced, and therefore it is not possible at the moment to provide further details.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra the only one with Snapdragon (together with Z Fold7)?

While waiting to find out more, a new report from South Korea anticipates some details regarding Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ And Galaxy S26 Ultra. After equipping the entire Galaxy S25 series with SIMMM SOC (specifically, with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy), Samsung should return to a double chip strategy with the Galaxy S26 series.

The rumors in this sense are already wasted, and in these hours a further “confirmation” arrives: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra it should be the only one to arrange globally of the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2While Galaxy S26 And Galaxy S26+ They should only use the latter in some markets (such as the United States, South Korea, China and Japan), proposing a chipset Exynos 2600 in Europe. This of course only if the SoC does not face particular production problems.

The Exynos line could also be the protagonist on two of the next arriving folds: the soc Exynos 2400 already used on Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ it could be used on the alleged Galaxy Z Flip FeWhile Galaxy Z Flip7 could use theExynos 2500 Originally designed for the Galaxy S25. Instead, it should be the Snapdragon 8 Elite to move the most expensive Galaxy Z Fold7regardless of the market.

At least a part of the new range of folding will be presented in July, while to see the official of the Galaxy S26 series we will have to wait much more: the new flagships will not arrive before January 2026, so we will have all the time to get their hands on further advances.
