This time we are talking about a novelty precisely for Google’s main app which, on the par with Gemini’s app, will soon allow users to choose the item with which the app will speak for the To fashions and for vocal research.
App Google earns four new “voices” for vocal searches
In February it emerged that Google was preparing four ad hoc “voices” for the To fashions Google research, indicated in that phase as Jungle, Lime, Royal And Sapphire.
In the last few hours, three months later, this novelty becomes reality for the beta testers with the version 16.20.48 Beta of Google apps (and we imagine can be distributed on the stable channel within a few weeks)
The four voices, however, present different names (Cosmos, Neo, Earth And Cassini) compared to those previously emerged, and are currently “applicable” exclusively to the language Engligh us But they don’t seem to be limited to To fashions.
According to what is discovered by the usual Assembradebug (via Android Authority), in fact, these voices will accompany the user even during vocal searches through the microphone icon, both internally to the app (also through the search widget) and through the search bar of the Pixel range smartphones.
There To fashionsas we know, is currently limited to the United States (there has recently been extended to all users) and recently received a lot of news. Unfortunately it is not yet clear when it can also be made available in our part.
How to update the app or try the news in preview
The app is already pre-installed by default on all Android smartphones equipped with Google services. So let’s see how to proceed with his update: to do it, as usual, just contact the Google Play Store (the app page can be reached through the underlying badge) and make a tap on “Update” in case an update is available.
