Yesterday we were able to discover the aesthetic and some probable specifications of Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge, the middle model of the future Galaxy S26 range of Samsung, a range that, according to increasingly insistent items, will be completed with Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro And Galaxy S26 Ultrathe only “confirmed” of the range.
Also for the other two models of the range it is already time to render and rumors about the technical data sheet: we can thus discover the path taken by the South Korean giant, both in terms of design and in terms of specifications, for future “traditional” flagships “future” smartphones.

We begin to familiarize yourself with the three models of the Galaxy S26 range
We have already known this for a while but it is good to familiarize yourself with something that, as the various leakers share new information, seems to take on the contours of a true story: Samsung will revolutionize the Galaxy S range next year, returning to the trident (which will probably be completed with the FE model) after a year of “heavy attack”:
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro -> successor of Galaxy S25
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge -> successor of Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Edge
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra -> successor of Galaxy S25 Ultra
In addition to the internal reorganization, the South Korean giant will adopt a series of concept changes to its smartphones, the result of the new stylistic course inaugurated with Galaxy S25 Edge and strengthened with Galaxy Z Fold7, respectively the traditional smartphone and the most thin folding of the company.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro
Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro It will therefore be the new “basic” model of the range and, as you can see from the following image render that depicts it in view of a rear cut, it seems to be configured as a fairly thin smartphone (we talk about 6.7 mm thick, half a millimeter less than the Galaxy S25).
With the two smartphones “of the new course” above, it will share an important detail: it will not only be the individual lenses to protrude from the body but from it it will protrude a vertical island in the shape of a pill, containing the photographic sector. The arrangement of the sensors will not change. They will remain vertically arranged “on traffic lights” and will be individually surrounded by metal rings.
All physical buttons will be placed on the right side of the smartphone: volume barbell, power on/off underneath. On the other hand, the general concept should not change: brick smartphone, with slightly rounded corners and “flat” metal frames, probably with opaque finish.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge
Of Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge we talked in depth yesterday and here we will limit ourselves to recapitulating the salient points on the design front. It will be different from the direct predecessor, with a design of the rear part that seems inspired by that of the iPhone 17 Pro that we will meet on September 9th.
The photographic sector, again double but with an improved ultra-ganglular sensor, will be set inside a showy rectangular island that will protrude from the rear body. The thickness will be further reduced but the integrated battery will be more large.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Let’s now move on to Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, a smartphone that should be configured once again as flagship of the Galaxy S range (as well as the only confirmation compared to the old formation).
As you can see from the following render, also in this case the photographic sector protrudes from the body “in bulk”, with the sensors that in turn protrude from this sort of step. Everything is very similar to the most recent folding folding.
The laser sensor for automatic focus, the LED flash and the second telephoto lens, however, continue to be flourished, despite a reduced thickness compared to that of the 2025 model: from 8.2 mm It will move on to 7.8 mm.
It also seems that Samsung has chosen to round the four corners of the smartphone, completing a process of “softening” already started in the transition from S24 Ultra (the last “squad”) to S25 Ultra. The 2026 model will be much more in line with the other models of the range from this point of view.
We do not have a cut or front view of the smartphone but, despite this, we note that the buttons are all on the right side. There will also be a slight increase in plan size.
When will Samsung’s Galaxy S26 arrive?
Looking at Samsung’s work of the last 4 years, we can almost take it for granted that too Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge And Galaxy S26 Ultra can be officially launched in the initial phases of 2026.
According to rumors of the corridor we speak of February 2026 but it is very likely that the South Korean giant offers the launch event Galaxy Unpacked in the second half of January and then start the actual marketing in February.
Taking a step back of a few months, it seems that with the Galaxy S26 we could attend an increase in list prices compared to those offered on the 2025 models. In general, however, we know that Samsung offers very interesting discounts since the launch. We will therefore see several months still missing.
